Why I love these jackets: I found Alena Saunders jackets on Instagram. She was doing her own indigo dying and I thought it was pretty cool, so I sent her a DM. Her response to the OST project was to say that she also loves “deliberate wearables” which so perfectly (but more coolly) summed up what was on offer in our shop. We thought working with denim was aligned perfectly with her brand inspiration: her grandfather and great-grandfather, both of whom were cattle dealers. Alena sourced her denim from Goodwill shops in LA (million of tons of donated clothing winds up in landfills).
