THE BLAZER

DETAILS: The J Mueser for OST blazer is cut longer than most women’s jackets and a hair oversized while still being flattering to your figure. Better than your boyfriend’s blazer and akin to the fit of a traditional English tailored jacket. The blazer features a patch chest pocket and hip pockets, calfskin suede elbow patches, and matte natural horn buttons. The blazer is made with no canvas or padding for casual ease.

MY STORY: I love a blazer. I wear them with jeans, with trousers, skirts, over dresses, adding instant polish or boyish cool. For this first Edition, I wanted to offer one in tweed for it’s heritage feel. Andrea Chappell (of Acme Atelier) suggested having the blazer crafted in the same Romney Newchurch tweed as her kilt, “so the customer can order as a suit,” she said. Well, I thought this was a great idea.
