This dress is made-to-order so we cut your garments just for you. Once we have received your order in your standard size, we welcome you to consult with OST concierge to address your specific measurements, requirements or questions. Once finalized, all pieces will be hand-crafted in Bomba’s atelier in Rome. Please allow from 6-10 weeks for your dress to be completed. MY STORY:
The Apron dress was the first garment I ordered from Atelier Bomba for my personal wardrobe. I loved the simplicity of the design and chose to have it made in a navy pinstripe cotton. Michele Am Russo, a founder of Bomba, told me that the dress was worn as a “uniform” by the women that work in their shop in Rome. It was a charming image that stuck with me and so the Apron dress was the first piece developed for Edition 001. In designing the version for OST, I wanted a dress that combined the two seemingly conflicting ideas behind the uniform: austerity and ease. Michele suggested scabal cool wool, for it’s quality and for it’s versatility.
